The American Way Dam Bike Run

June 23, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - June 24, 2018 @ 12:00 am

The American Infidels Veterans Motorcycle Club will host a fundraiser Saturday to help Range 2.14 build a facility in the Midlands for veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.

The event will take place from noon until 11 p.m. and will include multiple raffle prizes, free food catered by Belly’s Southern Pride BBQ, and country music provided by Jesse Moore.

“We’re going to be riding over the Lake Murray bridge, it’s going to be a beautiful scenic ride” said Chris Koufos with American Infidels VMC. Registration will begin at 2 p.m. and end at 3:30 p.m. The ride will begin at 4 p.m.

Range 2.14 implements brand new practices, developed by Boulder Crest Retreat, that focus on The Warrior PATHH Program. “It is the first nonclinical program, and it’s been proven with an 88 percent success rate to cure PTSD through veterans and first responders across the board.”

Billy Britt, Co-founder of Range 2.14 explained. “We have been deemed with responsibilities to bring it to the Midlands. American Infidels are helping us with this event. They’re backing us 100 percent. It’s coming to town and we’re going to save some lives.”

Proceeds will also go towards sponsoring five veterans and five first responders through the program in Boulder Crest. When they return to the Midlands, they will be able to represent what all the program has to offer.
