History Ride to Kings Mountain

Sunday, Oct 18th, we’re going to take a Ride to the Kings Mountain Military Park. There we will hike the trail to the top of the monument and study the history of the battle of King’s Mountain along the way. The history here is fascinating and tragic, and part of the struggle for our Nation to win our freedom from the British Empire… but there’s a little more to it than that… Let’s check it out!

We’ll meet here at Cox’s and go Kick Stands up at 11AM. Pack a small Day Pack for the hike with some Water and some Power Bars. The trail is paved and nice, but has some good hills up and down.
In case of a rainout – we’ll ride October 25th.
